What Lobby does

We give you an AI concierge: a hosted page at lobby.host/c/your-slug and a widget you can put on your own site. It greets your visitors, answers from what you have given it, and sends you a lead when someone shares their details.

We do not touch your domain or your DNS, and we do not replace your website. Your existing site keeps its search ranking.

Your account

You sign in with a link emailed to you, so keep control of that mailbox. Whoever can read it can read your leads.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.

What your concierge says, and what you are responsible for

Your concierge speaks on your behalf. It answers from the configuration and source material you give it, it is instructed to stay inside the boundaries you set, and every reply is checked against your “never say” list before a visitor sees it.

It is still an AI system, and AI systems can be wrong. You are responsible for the content you give it, for the promises it makes about your business, and for checking anything that matters before you act on it. Do not use it to give regulated advice (medical, legal, financial) unless you are qualified to give that advice yourself and have configured it accordingly.

You are the controller of the personal data your concierge collects from your visitors. You need your own lawful basis for collecting it, and your own privacy notice. Ours describes what we do as your processor; it does not cover you.

What you must not do

Do not use Lobby to deceive people about who they are talking to, to collect data you have no right to collect, to harass anyone, or to break the law.

Do not put material into a concierge that you do not have the right to use, and do not use the service to try to extract our prompts, break our rate limits, or attack the platform.

We can suspend an account that does these things. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

Plans, conversations and payment

The free tier includes a monthly allowance of conversations and shows a small “Built with Lobby” link on your concierge. The paid plan raises the allowance and removes the link. Current numbers and prices are on the pricing page.

We never auto-charge you for going over your allowance. When you run out, your concierge tells visitors you are at capacity and gives them the contact details you published. It does not silently stop working, and it does not quietly cost you money.

Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the current period. If we have clearly broken something, ask. We would rather refund you than argue.

Your data and ours

Your configuration, your source material, your conversations and your leads are yours. We use them to run the service for you and for nothing else. We do not sell them and we do not train models on them.

We own Lobby itself: the software, the brand and the design.

Ask us to delete your data and we will, within 30 days. Export is by request today; there is no self-service download yet.

Uptime and limits of liability

We work hard to keep this up but we do not promise a specific uptime, and we provide the service as it is. Things break; when they do we fix them.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profit, lost business, lost data), and our total liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it

You can stop using Lobby whenever you like. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or with reasonable notice if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give you a way to get your leads out first.

Changes to these terms

We will email account holders before a material change takes effect. Carrying on using Lobby after that means you accept the new version.
